Senior Product Manager

At HG, the Product team’s mission is to develop a suite of products on our Discovery platform, which enable customers to explore, select, and integrate our premium data collections into their sales, marketing and analytics workflow systems with ease, so that they can craft practical data-driven strategies and campaigns around more precisely targeted market opportunities.

HG is seeking a product manager to lead our market-facing API & Integrations track, which is a key pillar of our product capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring depth of functional experience (product management) and subject matter expertise experience (data, analytics, sales and marketing technology buyers), as well as a proven track record. The Product team at HG bridges business and development sides of the organization, but sits on the business side, reporting to the VP of Product.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our VP of Product and other product managers to develop a forward-looking product strategy for our API & Integrations roadmap in context of the broader product portfolio and platform strategy.
  • Work with internal & external customers, and HG partners to ensure that the API/integration roadmap is strategically driven, based on business model alignment, and fit with market-driven opportunity and needs
  • Synthesize research into top product outcomes to target and gain buy-in from stakeholders and management
  • Translate product rationale in at least two directions – from business requirements to feature requirements; and from features planned to projected business impact
  • Work closely (“hands-on”) with engineers, data scientists, designers, product marketing and the customer success team throughout the implementation phase and own the successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Develop measurable success criteria & KPIs through continual evaluation & analysis of key metrics

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in product management experience, 2+ in B2B SaaS products
  • Passion for the problem we are solving – distilling data into opportunity for our customers
  • Highly desired experience in API and integration product management
  • Highly desired experience with popular sales & marketing software and systems – Salesforce, Eloqua, Dynamics, Marketo, etc.
  • Great track record of working with customers, engineering and design teams: people want to work with you again.
