Position Overview: The Technical Customer Success Specialist will work directly with HG Data’s largest clients and prospects to ensure they achieve maximum success with our product and data offerings.  This support includes technical fit qualification, data integration, professional product demonstrations, contributing to product strategy and applying business intelligence industry knowledge throughout the customer lifecycle.  Multiple touch points exist within our Enterprise accounts that work with different data driven tools and have different use cases and pain points they are working to solve.  As a result, you will develop a diverse toolkit of solutions and industry knowledge to serve their data and technical needs.  

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to integrate data offerings into the customer’s technology landscape comprising tools such as CRM, Marketing Automation, BI, databases and internally developed client tools.
  • Provide technical advice and planning during the pre-sales phase.
  • Lead technical discussions around data mapping and integration, data workflows and sales and marketing use cases with enterprise clients.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, SQL and Excel to demonstrate data value and use cases.
  • Develop presentations, data samples and materials that can be leveraged by both technical and non-technical clients to demonstrate data applications.
  • Interpret customer questions and deliver answers based on best practices - think beyond the present situation.
  • Identify opportunities to expand volume and type of data delivery to enterprise clients.
  • Work with the HG Data Customer Success, Sales and Marketing teams to implement and document best practices to support clients.
  • Become a resident expert on HG Data's data sets, products, and markets - including Big Data, Data-as-a-Service, Predictive and Analytical Markets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the data industry supporting sales and marketing intelligence.
  • Experience loading, cleaning and manipulating data and processes within tools such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, Eloqua.
  • Strong analytical and data skills that manifest themselves through BI tools and SQL.
  • Excellent listener and problem solver capable of recommending solutions to customer requests and technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills that traverse from executive to technical levels.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Interest in how big data is transforming the world.
